A canvas hot tent, by definition, is any tent that is designed to be heated with a stove. All of the canvas tents offered by Wall Tent Shop are designed to be canvas hot tents with a stove.

I live in a canvas wall tent six to seven weeks a year while hunting elk, deer, and bear in the Idaho wilderness. I designed the Wilderness canvas hot tent based on my tenting experience of 50 years. All canvas hot tents and stoves have been thoroughly tested in the harshest weather conditions.

6' side walls provide much more headroom and usable space for heated tents.
I strongly recommend you ask your suppliers the finished height of the side walls before purchasing a tent. Be advised that some tent companies advertise a 5' sidewall, but the actual height is only 4'7".
6' is a much more luxurious-looking tent that many glampers purchase. Walking into a tent with 6-foot walls looks much bigger than a tent with standard 5-foot walls.
6' option only available on fire, water, and mildew-treated tents.
Wilderness canvas wall tents are the same tent models we also sell as glamping tents, camping hot tents, and winter tents. Our Wilderness tent is very high quality and the most reinforced canvas wall tent available. That is why we use it on all canvas hot tent models.
All Wilderness Wall Tent Shop hot tents for sale are made from canvas. Most websites selling hot tents are made from a synthetic material. Canvas is much more durable and stronger than synthetic materials. The best hot tent with stove is made from canvas if you need a strong or durable tent that will be left up for long periods.

A hot tent is any tent that can safely accommodate a stove inside.
Common hot tents include wall tents, bell tents, spike tents, and cabin tents.
Our Wilderness Tent is one of the most reinforced tents available for winter camping.
It features a double layer of canvas on the ridge for added strength.
Webbing on the eaves provides significantly more strength than the canvas eaves found on many competitor models.
Steel D-rings on the eaves help secure eave ropes. Competitors often use cloth loops, which can tear out under snow loads or high winds.
All of our Wilderness Tents include a fireproof stove jack, which allows the stove pipe to safely pass through the roof. A hot tent with a stove jack should have at least an 18" square area of fireproof material.
Stove jacks vary in size. Double-check your stove before purchasing to ensure the stove jack fits your stove pipe size.
A hot tent with a stove works more efficiently when the stove jack is located on the roof, where it can provide better draft. Stove jacks located in walls require two pipe elbows and are more difficult to set up. Stove pipes that exit through walls are also more likely to become disconnected, especially in windy conditions.

- Small hot tents start at 8 x 10 and are suitable for 1-2 people when using a stove.
- Large hot tents are 16 x 24 and are suitable for up to 6 people when using a stove.
- Other available sizes include 10 x 12, 12 x 14, 14 x 16, and 16 x 20.
Canvas breathes and allows moisture to escape.
Synthetic materials do not breathe as well and can cause condensation.
Canvas is much more durable and long-lasting.
Canvas can be treated for fire resistance to help reduce fire hazards.
Synthetic tents can melt upon contact with a stove or fire.
