Conduit Usage Chart

The chart below outlines the amount of 10' x 1" EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) you will need to complete a frame for your canvas tent.

1" EMT is made of steel or aluminum and is found in 10' lengths.

Steel is the most common form of 1" EMT and can be found at your big box hardware stores. 

Aluminum EMT is less common and is normally found at your electrical supply stores.  It has approximately 25% less strength than steel, but is commonly used for framing in canvas tents.
